Free program for veterans and first responders
A regular yoga practice provides boundless benefits including stress reduction and improved health. Our program is designed to help veterans, their families and first responders manage the effects of occupational stress and PTSD.
Why yoga?
Medical experts agree that movement, breath and meditation calm the nervous system, release endorphins, stimulate creativity and improve sleep. But it’s yoga’s comprehensive approach to body, mind, emotion and energy that makes it ideal for individuals with occupational stress.
Because you spend much of your time and energy in service of others it’s important to devote time to your own well-being too. Yoga intentionally occupies your mind and your body, allowing you to let go of other thoughts while you focus on relaxed movement and steady breathing. In these moments you are freed to experience the boundless benefits of yoga.
